MASLINICA, a village and harbour in the cove of the same name, on the western coast of the island of Solta; population 69. The coast around Masli-nica is indented, with a number of coves and small pebble beaches (Tepli Bok, Soskova, Poganica, Vela Luka). A local road connects Maslinica with other places on the island. The cove provides docks for smaller yachts and is well protected from all winds.
