Obrovacf

This important traffic center (road, railroad ) lies in the picturesque valley of the river Zrmanja. The hunting and fishing are developed in the surrounding area. There are numerous monuments from the Illyrian and Roman period, the medieval town from the 13th century, the remains of the Turkish fortresses from the 16th century. Many ruins of the medieval castles, churches and monasteries, were found near the river Zrmanja.
