Day 1
Friday DUBROVNIK –
Arrival
Check in starts at 13:00 hrs. Discover the beauties of
Dubrovnik, the city of glorious past, once the seat of the small but
powerful Dubrovnik Republic. Take a stroll around the city walls and
fortresses. Explore the maze of charming mediaeval lanes and relax at one
of the outdoors cafés. Welcome dinner on board. Overnight in
Dubrovnik.
Day 2
Saturday DUBROVNIK – MLJET
Breakfast and morning at leisure
in Dubrovnik. Lunch on board and early afternoon departure for Mljet
Island. Visit the Mljet National Park. Take a pathway through the dense
pine forest leading to its Small and Great Lakes; take a boat to the islet
with Benedictine Abbey and the Church of St. Mary founded in 12th century.
Overnight in Pomena.
Day 3
Sunday MLJET –
HVAR
Breakfast
on board. Late morning departure for Hvar. On the way to Hvar stop on
Šćedro Island or Stipanska on the Paklinski Islands for swimming and
sunbathing. Lunch on board. Situated in the center of the Adriatic Sea
routes, protected by the magnificent archipelago of the Paklinski Islands,
Hvar has always been a safe haven for boats. Enjoy its mild scenery
abounding in palm and pine trees, aloes, rosemary and lavender. Take a
stroll along its Riva and through its cobblestone streets and squares,
visit St. Stephen Cathedral and the Franciscan Monastery. Overnight in
Hvar.
Day 4
Monday HVAR – BOL,
Brač Island (or STARI GRAD, Hvar Island)
Breakfast on board and
morning departure for Bol on Brač Island. Lunch on board. Bol is a famous
seaside resort boasting the most beautiful pebble beach on the Adriatic
coast that changes its shape pending on wind and sea currents. Enjoy a
pleasant sea- front promenade walk up to the Dominican Monastery and taste
delicious specialties at local taverns. Overnight in Bol. If an overnight
stay is not possible at Bol, the alternative is Stari Grad (Hvar
Island).
Day 5
Tuesday BOL (or STARI GRAD) –
MAKARSKA
Breakfast on board and morning departure for Makarska.
Lunch on board. Discover the dramatic scenery of the Makarska Riviera,
nestling at the foot of the Biokovo Mountain range. It descends to the
coast in a series of cliffs and ridges, making an impressive backdrop to a
string of its beautiful pebble beaches. Overnight in Makarska.
Day 6
Wednesday MAKARSKA
– KORČULA Breakfast on board and morning departure for Korčula.
Lunch on board. On the way to Korčula stop in one of the secluded coves
for swimming and sunbathing. Discover Korčula, the jewel of the mediaeval
architecture, dominated by the magnificent Cathedral of St. Mark, with the
Renaissance town loggia, numerous churches, squares and the house of Marco
Polo, the famous world traveler. The island of Korčula was covered with
dense and dark pine forest and Greeks called it Korkyra Melaina (Black
Korčula). Greeks were settled here in the 3rd century BC. Overnight in
Korčula.
Day 7
Thursday KORČULA –
DUBROVNIK Breakfast on board and morning departure for
Dubrovnik with several stops for swimming and sunbathing. Lunch on board.
Arrival in Dubrovnik in the late afternoon. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 8
Friday DUBROVNIK –
Departure
Breakfast, end of cruise.
