DAY 1 – KOPER (Slovenia)

Embark in the afternoon. Embark your cruise ship in this delightful renaissance city, today the most important port of Slovenia.

DAY 2 – ZADAR (Croatia): 10.00 am – 8.00 pm

Walking City tour of Zadar: 10.00 am – 11.30 am: visit of the old town starting by the National Square (Narodni Trg). Then the remains of the Roman Forum, the Church of St Donat, the Romanesque Cathedral of St Anastasia (Sveta Stosija), and the Benedictine Convent. Visit of the Church Art collection “Gold and Silver of Zadar”.  € 25

National Park Plitvitce: 11.30 am – 07.15 pm: after visiting the city, depart by coach to the National Park of Plitvitce located about 2 hours drive from Zadar. This great park consists of 16 lakes interconnected by amazing waterfalls. This fascinating natural wonder is formed on the Karst terrain of the area. Walk throughout the Park, Picnic with lunch packet on the spot. Entrance fee to the national park including licensed guide. Return to Zadar late afternoon.    € 80

Sibenik: 2.30 pm – 7 pm: transfer by coach to Sibenik, 60 kms distant from Zadar. Erected in the tenth century, Sibenik was a temporary Capital of the Croatian kingdom. Explore the old town: St Jacques Cathedral (XVth century), see the St Michael’s castle providing an unimpeded view over the city. € 40.

DAY 3 – PLOCE (Croatia): 7.30 am–2.30 pm and KORCULA (Croatia): 6 pm – Midnight

Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina): 8 am – 1.30 pm: Transfer by bus to Mostar, The city has been severely tortured by the last war and was reborn with the help of international aid to reconstruct notably the Stari Most/Old Bridge over the Neretva River. Visit of the old town.

Gradac (Croatia): 9.15 am – 1 pm: Transfer to the beach of Gradac (10 kms away from Ploce).  € 15

City tour of Korcula: 6 pm – 7.15 pm
Walking guided city tour of the old town. Korcula is located over a promontory surrounded by old ramparts, flanked by 4 towers dating back to the 15th century. Visit of Church St Marc and other ancient palaces dating from the 15th. You will pass in front of the alleged birth place of Marco Polo. € 20

 

DAY 4: KOTOR (Montenegro): 8 am – 10.30 pm

Montenegro’s Grand Tour: 9.00 am – 6.30 pm - Departure in the morning to explore the medieval city of Budva. On the way, you will have a short stop at the former fishing village of Sveti Stefan. You will after enjoy a sailing on the famous Skadar Lake and have a lunch in a typical fishermen restaurant. On your way back to Kotor, you will have a splendid panoramic view on the Fjord of Kotor. € 75

Budva (Riviera of Montenegro): 8.30 am – 12.30 am: Visit of the small town of Budva, a former Greek colony, built at the foot of a hill, enclosed by stone walls. Visit of the Museum and time at leisure (possibility of swimming). € 45

Former Montenegro capital Cetinije: 2.15 pm – 7.15 pm: Transfer by bus to Cetinje the old capital of Montenegro at the end of XIX century. Visit of the Royal Palace of Niegos. You will admire the Byzantine style Monastery – On the way back, you will taste the national food of “ham and cheese” in a nice local inn. € 55

 

DAY 5 : DURRES (Albania): 7.00 am – 10.00 pm

City tour of Tirana: 9.00 am – 4.45 pm:  From Durres, departure to Tirana, Capital of Albania. Walking through Skanderberg Square including the Moshe of Ethem Bey and visit of National Museum. Lunch in a local restaurant. € 75

 

DAY 6: DUBROVNIK (Croatia): 8 am – 11 pm

City tour of Dubrovnik: 9 am – Noon: Transfer by bus from the harbour to the old city and escorted guided tour including the Franciscan monastery, the Rector’s Palace and the Treasury of the Cathedral. € 30

Evening Folklore performance: 8.45 pm – 10.30 pm
Enjoy the traditional song and dance from Dalmatia in a nice setting. € 35

 

DAY 7: SPLIT (Croatia):  8 am – 4 pm

City tour of Split: 09.00 am – 11.00 am OR 11.00 am – 13.00 pm: Guided walking city tour of the old city (Grad) formed by the Diocletian Palace. Visit of Sveti Ivan Cathedral and walk inside the Palace including Golden and Silver Gates. € 30

Trogir: 08.15 am – 11.00 am: Transfer by coach to Trogir situated 25 km north of Split and about a half hour’s drive. Trogir is a small Venetian style city. Visit of the Cathedral of St Laurent, erected in the 13th century. Walk through the narrow streets to the central square and see the Rector’s Palace and the Benedictine Monastery of St Nicholas. € 30

Cetina Canyon: 11.00 am – 15.00 pm: Around 20 km far Southern from Split you will descent by boat the Cetina River and have a local lunch in a typical Croatian village. € 55

 

DAY 8: KOPER (Slovenia)

Bus transfer to Piran: 9.30 am to midday: Piran is a lovely port, considered as the Jewell of the Slovenian Riviera. The place is also known as the birthplace of the famous Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini.
The city has been extensively renovated and has kept its Venetian-like style. Time at leisure.
Price: 20 €
